	WORSHIP: Trinity offers two worship experiences on Sundays, one at 8:30 AM and the second at 10:45 AM. The services are essentially the same, with a couple of additions at the second service, such as Children’s Moments. The services are traditional in format, with praise songs a couple of times a month. Our young children also lead us in singing once a month. Sunday School is offered for all ages from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM. Worship is led by a lay liturgist and Pastor Tad Grover, with Kay Larson directing the Chancel Choir, Debbie Pockras accompanying the choir, and periodically Marie Ellis directing the Bell Choir. The choirs participate in worship during the school year, but not in the summer. The Revised Common Lectionary provides most of the scripture for worship, though deviations from this occur now and then. The focus of worship is praising God while acknowledging that we are disciples of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. As we seek to follow Jesus, we are called into God’s Kingdom though we live in this world. We learn of God’s love for us and how we are called to share that love with others. Worship incorporates scripture, prayer, music, and fellowship. We invite you to join us as we thank and praise God for his goodness and his love for us.
	Today's Bible Verse Pastor's Corner |   Pastor Kurt King was born and raised in Greenfield, Ohio near Chillicothe. He and his wife, Annie, have been married for seventeen years. They have four children, Randy, Emmy, K.J. and Calvin.  Kurt is a graduate of Morehead State University and received his masters of divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. Kurt served as an associate pastor at the Lebanon United Methodist Church and senior pastor in two other UM congregations before being appointed lead pastor of Cherry Grove United Methodist Church in July 2002. His hobbies include playing with his four kids, camping with Annie and family, and competing in 5K and 10K running events around the greater Cincinnati area.
